Default Jake's Long Travel question (g29)

I am in the middle of installing a Jake's long travel lift on my 2011 Yamaha g29. Included in the kit were these 2 brackets and I have no idea where they go or what they are for. These are not mentioned in the instruction manual that came with the lift or the instructional video on You Tube. Anyone have any idea what these are for?

I'm about to order that kit. I've watched several youtube vid's on the install & I don't remember seeing those 2 brackets.

Haha, had the same brackets left over after my install on a 2014 g29. It hasn't fallen apart yet lol but if you find out I'd be interested to know.

They are extra supports for the upper shock mount (J-Plate). Looks like they added them back into the lift kit but are not in the instructions. We installed one of these lift kits today and did not use them. If you wanted to use them one end goes to the upper shock bolts between the head of the bolt and the shock and the other end goes to where the J-plate bolts to the sub frame of the golf cart.
