Hauling Lifted Cart in F-150 5.5 bed ideas
Hey guys got my cart built and love it. I decided to buy a travel trailer and try camping. Question how can I haul my cart in the back of my 2014 F-150 with 5.5ft and pull my camper. Camper only weights 2900lbs. I am good on weight. Ready to go try camping at Ocean Lakes in Myrtle Beach SC

Re: Hauling Lifted Cart in F-150 5.5 bed ideas
I've put hundreds in the bed of 5.5ft bed f150s. We use a set of ramps from our trailers so they have less of an angle. Strap it down around back, middle of tires, hooks in bed.
The wheels will be just hardly on the tailgate. Everytime I do it I miss my f250 because of the bed size. (SORRY ABOUT PIC SIZE MODS PLEASE HELP ME FIX) |

Re: Hauling Lifted Cart in F-150 5.5 bed ideas
The back end of my battery powered ez go is very heavy and sits on the tailgate of my truck. To take some of the weight off I bought 2 8 foot long 2x10's that I put in the bed and drive the cart onto. Never seen those tailgate support metal bars that replace the wires but they look like a good idea!

I have been researching a similar situation!
This extends the hitch out for a trailer AND takes the weight of the the tailgate, but $800. http://www.hehitch.com |

Could trade it for a pickup with a fully grown box instead of a grocery basket. Sorry, that one was just "hangin" out there.
