24" tires on RXV
Anyone ran 24s on a '13 RXV? Any issues with rubbing in twisted frame situations? Any noticeable torque loss over say 23s?

Re: 24" tires on RXV
I run 23 inch tires. Mine is lifted so i don't have any rubbing issues.
I know theoretically I have torque loss, but it is still pretty beast like. I'm also running 2gauge cables which I've heard will give me slightly more juice. on the following thread http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...27120-rxv.html some one was asking as well. I link 2 videos I took. 1 on a big hill and 1 on a run through the woods. |

Re: 24" tires on RXV
Hey, thanks for the reply sltintexas. Did you buy your cart already lifted or did you add the lift and tires? If you added it, did you notice a big difference in the torque? With your 23s, if you were to get in a situation where the cart wouldn't move, would it still turn over both back tires? Or does it simply strain and not spin? From the looks of the video, it doesn't look like you lost much over factory!

Re: 24" tires on RXV
Just to clarify one thing...mine is a 2010, or 2009, I can't remember. I think for the most part we are close enough.
Mine was already lifted so I don't know how much I lost. It depends on what kind of stuck you are talking about. If you are stuck in the mud, the wheels spin. If you are stuck because of torque, it will not spin the wheels. I think RXVs are specifically designed to not do that. the times that happens is when I am in a ditch or something super steep. |

Re: 24" tires on RXV
Okay. Well, it worries me a little. Because now, it seems like nothing will stop the tires from turning. It's got tons of torque with the stock tires. But it sure will look good on 24s ;) Thanks again.
