2013 Precedent Upgrade
Here'e the progress made so far on my 2013 "Hunter".
The transformation started 4 weeks ago this was the plan: - Ditch all the golf stuff - Top to bottom systems health check and I wasn't not expecting any surprises. - New battery set with watering system and #2 wire set - 6" double a-arm front suspension lift kit - 7X12" alloys with 23" all terrain tires - Fender flares - HD dual action rear spring set with new bushings - Speed control mod to level 3 (about 20 mph) - LED front and rear light kit - Front brush guard and clays basket - Rear flip out seat set (fold out shelf) - Forest green or camo body color (rhino liner) - In dash digital battery meter - 5 panel "wink" mirror That's done but I've got a few more things to add before deer season: - Another small basket inside the cart - A xbow rack to the jump seat area - A winch receiver front and rear - A 400a controller - Some green LED front lights - Camo cover A tip of the hat to my friend Mark at Paradise for all the help! |

Re: 2013 Precedent Upgrade
It's a work in progress and it's growing on me.....
I've got the inside small storage basket underway, the rear wheel spacers are coming in next week and I have a rear towing bracket in mind. The Rigid D Series, Pod "Green LED" driving lights will go up front on the brush guard for pre-dawn stealth lights. Speed code 5 get's programmed Saturday so I should be able to lay down a blistering 25 mph with the right wind behind me..... It's all about being quiet! |

Whats the benefit of the green lights vs regular lights.
What baskets are you doing on the inside? Last edited by sltintexas; 03-27-2017 at 01:38 PM.. Reason: added stuff |

Re: 2013 Precedent Upgrade
The green color is a light wavelength some animals have difficulty seeing so it's a light I can use coming to and from camp that won't alarm everything in the woods.
This is the inside basket I've ordered from Grizzly Metal Works. https://grizzlymetalworks.com/ |

The speed code was added so my cart is officially somewhat faster than walking The new LED's are mounted and the wiring is about 1/2 way completed. I spent an hour in the battery area cleaning up the wiring a bit because I'm a little OCD and felt the need.... Rear brakes got adjusted a bit and a few more things got cleaned up. The interior basket is being made so it's 2 weeks out. I have a rear hitch plan coming together. I'll work on the rear xbow rack this weekend and improve the 5 panel mirror mounting as well. Believe it or not, this list is getting smaller |

The rear xbow "bar" is done. I have yet to decide the final placement for hole drilling but I'll fit some xbows on it and finish that this week. The hand screw will get reversed, pass through the rail and pinch the channel to hold the bar in place.

Re: 2013 Precedent Upgrade
The Rigid lights are in place and the harness is routed. I will have to cut-fit-splice the harness so it fit's well in the Precedent dash and has the right length to get back to the batteries. Each pod produces just over 3000 lm and I'll run these off of 3 batteries (24vDC) which should work fine.
