Rookie Wrap Complete
After deciding to do a wrap, I got a kit from golfcartgraphocs.com. I've never wrapped anything before, but worked in the boat business for a long time so I've been around wrapped boats and seen them done.
Wrapping the cart was a lot harder than expected. It took 2 of us a good 6+ hours. The front and mid section were easy, the back fenders and lighting areas were tough. I had to use more seams than desired but I think it came out ok. Here are some before and after pics, upholstery is getting done next! |

Re: Rookie Wrap Complete
WOW, that made a huge difference. Good Job!!!
Question, I have a CC DS and was thinking of just doing a camo wrap on the sides following the break line of the body. How hard would you think it would be to get a nice straight cut on that break line. Like you, I've never done it before. |

Thabks- regarding the cut line- I think it is possible. A little more patience and better planning and I think I could have done that, but not knowing what I was doing didn't help. LOL. Watch YouTube videos first for sure, and I learned that cars are easier than golf carts!

looks good that is one of the colors I was going to use but I use digital camo instead. I used a product call knife tape to cut the vinyl it worked real good. I used it on the black to follow the front lines. I never wrapped anything before just watched some videos, but it dose take a lot of patience.

I'm planning on doing my DS. I would like to see some close up shots of the seams you spoke of. Maybe you could elaborate a little on the problems you ran into. |

It took two of us 12hrs each to wrap our DS because we were so picky. I swore I would never wrap one again, I will gladly pay a professional to do it next time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Now a question for you if you have the time. How is it holding up vs a paint job like you spoke of. |

Re: Rookie Wrap Complete
Looks great and kudos to you for doing it yourself
I just had mine recently done. I watched some videos and decided I'd screw it up if I did it myself. Cost around 200 more to have it designed and applied rather than buying a diy kit. |
