"Not reallly offroad" lifts?
Ok, about to get into my first lifted cart. Its an 95 or so EzGo gasser Medalist.
Im going to put on a set of 25x9.5x10 Interco Vampire TSLs. Plans for the cart... I may take it out on some trails, will be takin it to the mudding events but not really looking to try to attack the bounty hole. I just want the lift somewhat for looks, and to get around here and there. I am not big blocking the cart with hopes of tearing trhough the dunes or mud pit at 35mph. I have a lifted truck for that. But I see comments that alot of the lifts are "for looks on RV park carts".. I am looking at going with a standard width 5" drop axle setup(not drop spindle). I am wondering if I will be unhappy with this choice for mild offroad use. My engine is a 295, and I don't plan to swap it out. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks. |

well a drop beam is the easy to do and the ride is not to bad.. the strech A arm kit is good and looks good too half of our carts that we put on the A arm kit never see the dirt or off road the drop beam is around $100.00 and the chrome A arm kit is $599.00

The stretch kit widens the track doesn't it?
For a standard width beam, with a 10" wheel, do i have to run offset wheels to clear the beam or will centered wheels work? I know for an 8" wheel they would have to be offset, what about a 10 on a 5". |

well its not recommanded to run stock wheels and yes strech's does widden the track but it s safer that way and rides better even a drop beam will widen the track 2"
