Lifted cart for snow plowing?

Just curious how well a golf cart works for snow plowing? I see it's recommended to have the limited slip differential but is the cart heavy enough to push snow well? I'm in southern wisconsin so usually it's hit or miss on how much snow we get lol.

Otherwise I was debating on making a snowplow attachment for my golf cart

there's a company right here in Waukesha that makes plow setups for carts - they advertise on Milwaukee Craigslist and the setup looks pretty slick. Personally, I'd be concerned about traction though, I drive my carts year-round when I can and they hate turning on snow or ice, even if they get traction at the rear.

Shouldn't be a problem pushing snow. You will need decent tires with some lugs for grip or, even better, especially if you have the so called all terrain tires, [Saharas ect] is chains on all four. If you carry some of the weight of the blade on the cart it will make steering better.

This is what it looks like now. It'll have a 3 cylinder diesel in it before winter so it'll have a little more weight on the rear. So hopefully it will get some better traction that way

I hate to tell you that those wheels and tires will be almost useless for snow plowing. No lugs on the tires to bite without chains, and no tire sidewall to mount chains. The chains will most probably chip your rims. Looks like you got her well lit for night use though!

I run a stock ez-go with 22's and I plow my 300' drive with it, I do have a shorter belt and I adjusted the governor, and it does a great job, better than the 2 wheel drive 4 wheeler I had..

this is my cart and the blade I made for it.. but when I plow I do lower the tire pressure, I also tried a set of 20's AG tires and the 22's in the picture were a lot better, the cart has quite a bit of torque and the shorter AG tires spun more..

Neat setup!! She would be a real weapon with chains!
