Thanks! Scored a mint factory seat with the metal frame from the dealer today!

I'm looking at both the vanguard 23 and a gx690 I can get the Honda cheaper but I'm looking to get something that I can get to rev decent. 4500-5000 on occasion
.
I've got a g2 with a predator 420 did the upgraded valve springs and it's held up great for 3 years of being used like a mule. If it ever goes I'm getting the vegas motor. It would be sweet.

Thumbs up Re: Ds build

Pulled the gx390 after a long memorial weekend of riding it was very worn out and using oil so It needs rebuilt. Well I bit the bullet and swapped in a Honda 690. Still need to wrap my exhaust “building the header and muffler was the hardest part” I also need to find and put the original spring back in the 780 drive clutch I put a stiffer spring in it with the 390 so it’s set to shift at too many rpm but it runs so smooth video coming. still have to break the motor in before I romp it hard but I should have done this from the start I think it will be perfect for this cart.

Look like you should be able to sling mud now instead of bog down in it. Very nice!

This has been a great cart!! I have posted many of video, of different brutal scenarios, from mud and swamps, to jumping off sand dunes, smirking... Even have a video running 45mph along the beach line.......
The pleasure that this cart has brought me, cannot be put into $dollars and cents, from the dog to the grandkids,
With this cart I may be the biggest kid of all.....
And it might be time to rebuild it 4 years is a long time for day-in-day-out use, would be brutal for most engines....
I took the dog out for a ride today, it still does 40 mph....
But I Rely more on torque than speed........ As noted in most of the videos.....
I'm headed to East Texas this weekend, and the terrain is crazy...... So I am a little nervous.... I do have the 3500 lb winch just in case, but nonetheless I won't be(as we say in Texas) Mass Grande Huevos...... This weekend.
And this weekend will truly tell whether "she" (meaning the cart) needs rebuilding or not.....

Haha no worries sounds like you enjoy yours about like me. Checked out your build man nice wish I had documented mine that well.

So got everything buttoned up and used it all weekend riding on the property and the main issues I’m having are the belt is catching so bad that it won’t shift unless I shut the motor down. Tried a 1” longer belt and it shifts but still not free like it has been before I swapped the twin in. The belt looks straight and I’m getting 1-3” deflection with the shorter belt more with the longer one. Idle is as low as I can get it without it hitting the comp release and stalling. Any advice?
