Arrow Stealth 4x4 buggy

I was watching the Outdoor channel the other day and seen the Primos boys advertise the Stealth 4x4 electric buggy. I got online and found there site. I was pretty impressed with the cart especially when I seen the extended range battery package they gave as an option running it up to a 40 mile range. Checked around a little bit more and found out they were manufactured about an hour from the house in Monroe Louisiana. I found there number and called them up. The receptionist put me on the phone with one of the owners of Stealth and he told me a little about the buggies. He said with there extended range battery pack and the set up they build, you can put 4 grown men on the cart and put it through any hills and mud and still get 30 miles out of it, loaded. They have 8- 6 volt batteries which gives it way more amp hours. How sweet it sounds. I got the phone number of one of there dealers and gave them a call. I cant remember all that he had to say right off hand but the buggy with the new extended range batteries, every bell and whistle that they could put on this thing would cost me $12,900. I like to hit the floor. I do remember that he told me they did a test on the cart and they got 53 miles on a charge. I imagine it was on a flat track. He did say they did ther own in house financing. Just about would have to cause I know my bank would have a hard time turning loose of $13,000 for a golf cart.

Over all, it does look and sound like a beast for the woods. The most attractive aspects to me was the 4wd, independent suspension and the extended range batteries.

Have any of you had any dealings with the Stealth 4x4 buggy?

Looks like thatisbuilt on aclub car chassis. If they can really get that much runtime out of the batteries, I am impressed! Still think I feel better with $10,000 less in mine.

The Stealth 4x4 is competing with the Bad Boy and other Chinese carts.
They are very competetively priced in there market, and as you said they are made here. It does seem pricey when you add all the bells and whistles, but the base price cart is right there with the competition. Obviously not the ride for everyone... But they're doin' pretty well in the market from the feed back I've gotten'...

A friend of mine is the local distributor for the Stealth buggy. They are not a Club Car conversion, they are custom frames built up to fit many Club Car parts. Not a bad deal, but kinda pricey (IMHO).

They are built off a club car frame, the I.D. plate even says club car. My dad has an 08 it has 6-8v trojan batteries "power drive" (I think it says) but does not have a size designation that I can see. Anyway I ran it for a test on relatively flat ground and went 15.8 mi at a constant max speed of 15mph.

Stealth is claiming that extended runtime with AGM's (I thought I read on here they weren't as good as the acid batteries?)

The local dealer has so far provided very good customer srvc. Dad's very pleased so far.

From what I understand the front and rear drive working in unison (off one motor) is better than the 2 motors as on the bad boy buggy.

Here seems to be a new comer to the game I just found them a couple wks ago http://www.titanutv.com/ The nice thing about this one is it has rear independant suspension and 4wheel hydraulic disc brakes.

The stealth brakes seem to be just stock brakes and they're o.k. but could be better, although at 15mph I guess you really don't need much for brakes except on steep slopes.

This isn't as quiet as a sparky and it stinks (fuel & exhaust)

I didnt realize that they were working off of one motor. If it works as good as they say I'd much rather have to replace one motor than two if something goes wrong. I'm gonna have to check out those other's that you linked us too.

I checked out the Titan web site last night. There were a couple of things that I liked such as switching to 4wd on the fly but over all wasnt completly impressed. If I was trying to sell the ultimate electric vehicle I would try to push more rugged features and try to show it doing its thing. I sat here and watched that whole video. I could have taken a skateboard everywhere they went. I mean who is gonna advertise a 4wd cart and all they do is ride around in a nice grass field. They went thru one creek in about 1" of water with a rock hard bottom. If I needed a cart to ride in a gated community that might sell me right there but show me some mud slinging, rock climbing, dirt flying and as a hunter I might be interested. I was waiting to see the Tele Tubbies sitting in the back seat.
