Jakes a-arms with economy 4" lift
Unfortunately my cart has the 4" lift that requires cutting the frame in half. It's worked fine for me but I was thinking the jakes a-arm set up would provide a smoother ride and probably provide a more durable suspension that doesn't require bushing replacement as often as I have to do now.
I have 3" spacers up front and the upper outer factory a-arm bushings get worn enough to replace about once a year. Is there a jakes front suspension that will work with the 4" lift I have that will not lift the cart anymore? |

Re: Jakes a-arms with economy 4" lift
I also have the factory 4" Z lift on my cart, and yes... I've had the same dilemma...
Remove the Z lift and put in straight plates, and add another small lift... Yet? I never had the problem of having to replace the bushings every year on my stock front end! Sadly, you'll find that in order to keep the height it is now, you'll have to remove one, and add another... It's frowned upon, but you could add a 4" Jake's A-arm on top of it, and loose the stock front end, and 3" spacers, and your existing front end bushings won't continually wear out, BUT... it'll sit higher! |

Ok. That's what I was figuring. Oh well. Maybe one day I'll swap lifts but I suppose I'll stick with what I've got for now.
