Opinions on the best rebuild process please

I'm ready to build my lifted Gas EZGO TXT. I have the old cart sitting with the body and all the plastic and panels off the buggie, with everything else in place.

I have a completely restored bare frame sitting in the shop next to the stripped cart and I want to move the old buggies infrastructure over to the new cart frame. I am going to be installing a Jake's LT kit on the new build with new HD leafs on the rear. All those parts are in boxes in the shop. My thought was that I would build the front suspension first on the new frame, then the steering and then move the rear-end over and and new rear leaf springs. I would then have a rolling chassis.

My question and my concern though is this. When is the best time to relocate the pedals, the fuel system, engine and the electrical and "other stuff" over? I don't want to do this out of order and cause myself headaches because of not knowing the best approach. For example would you move the motor over and then do the fuels system etc. or would you assemble all the bolt on's then do the pedals and cables etc?

What have folks that have done this before experienced and what do you suggest from having done this? I'm kind of nervous I'm going to end up with everything on a trailer taking it to an EZGO dealer to bail me out

Take lots of close up pic's and do one thing at a time!

Take pic's to help in routing wiring, cables etc.

Sounds like you are on the right track, make it a complete roller, fuel system, wiring harness, pedal box, body goes on last.

I would probably get all the steering bolted in place before the front suspension just so u don’t have to work around it.

X2 what E36Racer said. Definitely body last. Electric next to last because you need everything but the body in place to run wires. Lights you would probably have to install after the body.
