Springs for 85 Club Car ds
Currently running stock shocks on an 85 Club Car DS with a 6in lift and 23.5in tires. Trying to achieve a smoother ride. We have replaced the front and rear leaf springs with heavy duty springs, I'm sure that's some of the issue from what I've read. Hoping to find some recommendations on front and rear shocks aside from adding shock extensions.

Re: Springs for 85 Club Car ds
They Don't Really offer too many different kinds of shocks when it comes to the Club Car DS, I have the four leaf heavy duty rear suspension as well,
I did make one slight adjustment on the rear of the cart I swapped out the shock mounting bracket from upper side to the Lower Side of the bracket to allow or a longer shock. The shocks are like $15 a piece, in about an hour or so of time moving the mounting brackets.... Also try lowering your air pressure on the tires, most people over inflate them.... Which causes a much stiffer ride.... |
