Default G9 Lift Kit Installed

I finally found some shocks and got my lift finished...next comes the swing arm drop brackets and re-routing the brake lines.

Stay tuned.....

Looks like you are doing a GREAT job building that cart. Thats the way I like to build mine.....strip them.....and rebuild all of it. I think thats the only way you can get to everything easily.

edit* If you want the black plastic to look new they make a dye, you put some on a sponge and wipe the part down real good and dry off.

I made a family of mice really mad (nested under gas tank) and broke up a whole colony of rust gremlins but hey ...they had to go!!

While you have it accessible, I would put a new, fresh 3.04oz of multipurpose grease in your steering gear box. Yamaha says to do that every 4 years... but it never gets done.

My Yamaha book says "Multi type grease."
I would look at what's in there and try to duplicate it when putting the new back in.
