Default Ezgo Jakes long arm alignment

Lift is installed, was waiting on new tie rod ends to show up. Well they are here and the tie rods were installed and adjusted to the shortest length possible however I’m still about 1” out on toe. Front of the tires are at 41 inches and the back of the tire is just under 42 inches.

Anybody else run into this problem, Didn’t have much time to troubleshoot today. Will grab some closeup pics tomorrow.

But ill put up one i have before putting in the tie rod just to show what holes I’m using on the lift.

The cart is a 98 ezgo workhorse 1200.

So here’s some close ups, i think if i raise the front one hole it might help, if not the only other thing i can think of is to adjust the heim joints on the a arms to push the tire out further. Or maybe i got something backwards.

Did you adjust the inner heim joints on the control arms?

Control area look to b adjusted all the way in. You could make them longer but that’s not a good fix. I’d cut the tie rods on both ends to get the 1-1/2 inch. Give your self a little play. They’re threaded further than needed. If not cut the end of the tie rod ball joint.

Well I went one hole higher on the lift and went just 2.5 turns on the inside heim joints and got it aligned, then drove it around and drives straight as a arrow. Lift seems to handle real nice.

To adjust the camber the outside kingpin heim joints are loosened and moved in or out accordingly. Then you have to set you toe in toe out.
