Steering brakes
I have a CC with a 16 hp clonda. Anybody thought about steering brakes like a dune buggy? There should be some way to hook levers to the brake cables .
I'm thinking you could use it like positraction in the mud,I get stuck alot. hookm |

I think that is a good idea, don't forget to post lots of pictures. Are you thinking about one lever for each wheel then?

It was discussed on here not long ago but nothing technical came out of it. I kinda glanced at mine with the thought in mind but looks like there will be some headaches for sure, but I havn't put any time into trying to figure it out. like Scotty said take lots of pics.

I would say any help for getting unstuck would be minimum at best. I've run those brake setup on rails and have thousands of hours on tractors. When your stuck, locking down, and making your cart drag one of it's wheels isn't going to help much. On tractors you can see the wheels and judge how much brakes need applied, carts, not so much. Not kicking the idea but there's a reason they call them steering brakes......

I am on the tenth design in my head, I cut out some cardboard mock ups and I think it can be done with a lever on the front of the rear cowl I will try and post pictures tomorrow.
