Re: 12-14 rims/lift help
Biggest thing to consider when choosing rims/tires is ride comfort.
14" wheels and 23" tires = less tire sidewall and stiffer ride. 12" wheels and 23" tires = more sidewall and a little softer ride. Also, depending on what type of tire you go with, some may have a recommended higher psi range to run them at which = stiffer ride. I have 22" tires running at 8psi IIRC on 10" wheels. Softer ride since I run my cart off road most of the time. Edit: 5" lift should be fine with 23" tires. Consider the 6" a-arm lift from All Sports. Mine has been great. |

Re: 12-14 rims/lift help
NPCW pretty much covered it....so it would truly depend no how you will use your cart. But as far as the lift goes....a 5" will do fine for 23" tall tires....but it's a lot more common to see/find 6" lifts.

Re: 12-14 rims/lift help
This is the Jakes 7" double A arm lift. They call it 7", but I'm not sure that it is.
23" Mudlites on 10's, 2" spacers all around... Avatar is 23" Duro's on 12's. |
