Default Long travel kit for a 2009 ST-express

Hi, I have a brand new, stock, st express. Beautiful Cart! But I want a long travel kit for it. I am having problems finding info for it. Is it the same front end as the TXT?

The only 2 kits i see are the Jakes, and the Stretch. I think the stretch looks better, but not really sure how they are. Also what about the rear suspension??

I was thinking mikesmotortoys has had several of those st express carts and knows about them. He may be able to chime in and tell you what fits it. I was thinking they are the same as the normal workhorses with the rack & pinion steering box on the front axle. if so that would mean you need a LT for a 2001.5 and up. I'm thinking the back shouldn't need lifted unless your wanting to change the type of setup.

The Jakes works best for what we do with them (6 passenger). HOWEVER - The shocks are JUNK and you will need to reinforce the shock tower - PLUS run a different coil over shock. We use the Progressive shocks with our modification. The Strech kits are really good, BUT, you loose too much of your turning radius with them. As for the travel, I like the Strech. Turning, I like the Jakes, but ONLY after modifications. All Sports also offers a kit that we are looking into using in the future.

Nothing is going to be good "out of the box" though on a 6 passenger. Dirtysouth - do you have any input on the AllSports kit???

Jon's right, you will not need to mess with the rear, UNLESS you choose to go higher lift settings. This can be accomplished with a different rear leaf spring and shock extension...

THEY ARE AWESOME!!! I KNOW THE GUY, HE'S ALSO AWESOME!!!
They all seem to have + & - to them. All Sports runs the narrower track width which is good for the guys who trail ride or have limited storage space(doorways). They all have a good look to them. Oh yeah, All Sports is 100% American Made...
How's that Mike???

Those are long carts, if you loose some of your turning abilities that could be a real bugger. I do like the looks of the chrome ones though. Seems like a great price for those from Wicked carts.
I believe Allsports claims their LT to have the same or better turning radius than factory. (am I wrong about this DS?) That could be a big advantage with a long cart like that, guess it depends on where you use it.
