Default Golf cart suspension components durability with extreme tires

I just picked up a CC gas Turf2 and I am planning on lifting it with the all sport 7.5" super sport lift and running Maxxis Mudzilla 26x9-12. I have noticed that no one really really runs a true mud tire on their cart, is it because golf cart suspension components can't handle them, handling characteristics, or just that they are a bit over kill on a golf cart? My cart is not for offroad purposes I have plenty of quads for that but I think it would be killer look for the cart.

That looks good. What size wheel?

I run 25s on the street, and finishing up some custom beadlocks now to get these 27x12x12 TSL's on the cart.

Mud tires on the street = rapid wear, noise, poor handling and will rattle, shake and vibrate everything on the cart, maybe not when brand new but when they wear, they will. Probably OK for a parade pony that gets little use but would get VERY tiring/annoying on a cart that runs daily on the road.

24x11.5s on 10x8 wheels, only run around the property never on the road.

They are for when we take it with the jeep to go crawling. Some of the parks we go to have muddy/sandy lots and camping areas. But I'm sure I'll run them at the beach and lake as well.

I'm hunting a set ot 26 or 27" interco reptile radials for an all around tire, but I'll have to go up to a 14" wheel I think.

I have 12 wide in the rear and 9 wide up front. Message me and I'll save you some money on them.

Had to do the 9 wide fronts to steer haha. We tried my buddies 28x12R14 on there at lunch and it was hard to steer it. But stable as hell

2018.jpg

I recently just went from the 7.5" lift with 25x10-12 tires to a 10" lift with 28x11-12 and I haven't had any suspension issues. Mine is just a campground cruiser.
