G16 driven clutch question

Has anyone "adjusted" an aftermarket driven secondary spring?
I bought a heavier spring because of the 25's it had no low end power and took forever to get up to speed.

I put the new spring in and the low end is better but the engine is screaming and the cart seems a lot slower until your foots all the way down. The secondary eventually opens up but that spring is way too stiff and the factory is too light. I was kicking around the idea of heating up the stiffer spring around the 2nd loop hopefully making the spring less stiff. Any thoughts???

Plowmans secondary, with the proper spring for your tires and usage. Talk to Don--he will set you up with what you need. The "one size fits all applications" torque springs are usually too stiff and thick, and can lead to clutch problems...
