Default 2015 gas TXT Madjax 6" Spindle

Has anyone here done this lift? I have been having problems with fitting the rear lift blocks. The driver side brake cable bracket is to big for the block to fit. The dealer sent me a bracket kit that included a smaller brake cable bracket and a motor mount to lower the motor. So the brake bracket made a little space but still about 1/2" from getting center bolt of leaf to fit. Fast forward... Called Madjax and they are telling me to swap brake backing plates from driver to passenger and vice versa.

Has anyone else done this? Why would that make a difference? Don't really want to d this unless i know it will work.

Only heard of swapping backing plates on others but never on an TXT, also not familiar with the Madjax rear lift. They do that when lifting makes the cables too short.

How about some pictures of your trouble? you are moving the springs to the top of the axle right? (dumb question)

With the cables running from the top of the backing plates it creates a little less distance for the cables to span.

They run to the top stock. So I guess what I’m going to do is by swapping will I be flipping the brackets and running the brakes lines to the bottom?

Also curious if I need to lower the motor with the rxv motor mount they sent me?
When I called he said that was’t for my cart at all, but looks like it would fit.

Never used one on a 6" txt lift, it does tilt the motor a little without and you have to make sure you only have 1.5 quarts of oil because the dip stick won't be accurate.

Just to confirm what i was saying earlier. The reason to swap the back plates is to move the brackets and cables to the bottom?

No. If yours are already on the top, you shouldn't swap the backing plates. You may need to fully loosen the brake cable adjustment up under the floorboard where they split off from the one cable or rod from the brake pedal.

Are you using this set of installation instructions?

The lifting block on the drivers side doesn't fit with the brake cable bracket. THere seems to be enough cable to relocate to the bottom to allow the blocks to fit.

Yes those are the instructions that came with the kit. Madjax admits that those don't apply to late model TXT's.
