Since your planning on "fixing" this thing, and since your are in a farmin' state, methinks the wheels and tires are just too small. Put a set of low gears in her and go "shoppin" for some new rubber. Once you think outside of the golf cart "box", sky's the limit! [The other limit is how much the axles can stand, but since this is a parade queen the stresses will be minimal. Used 16.9 24s [ be common the front of smaller 4wds] can be had pretty cheap and they are about 52" tall.

I would argue to not put too much real money into this thing. It is just a parade novelty. Once you get on uneven ground it will tip over with all the battery and passenger weight up in the air like that.

i agree it will need bigger tires. a quick look, and i found only two tires no rims local. i would also likely need a adaptor for 8 or 10 lug. there is already a 4" at every corner. i know i souldnt stack 2 adapters so, ya. starts getting real pricy. right now im working on figuring out how to lay out the wiring, and what wires(motor wires) need extended.

Only the motor remains at sea level So you should just need some very long motor cables. Everything else remains the same.

That looks to be the same cart. Got any info? Rear axle has been turned 90 deg, cage and lights. But I think that's the same beast

went out to the garage and started with bolting upthe controller, and laying out the wires. harness must have been for a standard cart, not a stretch. will have to lengthen alot of wires to get them to the right spot(ex. f/n/r switch is 2 foot short). after that figured out the gear ratio. 1-12.5ish, so stock. o ya and one turn of tires is 8' in distance. after that i was 4or 5 beers in and though i should put the batterys in. only feel twice. should have set up some scafolding.
