Gcor testing problems
Can anyone tell me how to test my sensor on the gas pedal? This is on a 2014 gas precedent. The sensor doesn’t look like anything I find when shopping for one. The cart has no fire unless I disconnect the single wire on front of engine and the rpm limiter is built to the coil so I don’t think I can disconnect it. Please help.

Re: Gcor testing problems
The throttle sensor is basically an updated GCOR for generation 2 pedal assemblies, and consists of 2 micro switches that you'll be testing,
For safety... key off, disconnect the battery, and chock the tires. With the wire harness disconnected from the sensor, and your multi meter set to continuity, (Ohms) Attach the meter leads on the Green and Orange lugs of the sensor, your meter should read continuity (0 ohms) without the go pedal pressed, With the leads still connected to the sensor, press the go pedal, and it should change to no continuity (infinite) (a normally closed switch) Do the same for the Black and White lugs on the sensor, it should read just the opposite as the green and orange lugs, infinite without the pedal pressed, and 0 ohms when pressing the go pedal. (a normally open switch) Note: Club Car has been known to operate a$$ backwards at times, so the readings may be just the opposite from what I posted. (It's just a switch... it's either on, or off!) I'm not sure how to test the blue wire lug, but I'll guess that it has something to do with +12V, or the engine kill circuit. IF... by chance, one or both of those tests fail, it's to my understanding that the sensor can NOT be replaced by itself, you'll need to replace the complete throttle group, I could be wrong on that though... Re: Gcor testing problems
Unfortunately the TPS is a Solid State Device (no mechanical switches) so it needs to be tested with the Power ON.
I put together the image below with the process. |

Re: Gcor testing problems
Thankyou for the help. Ordered a accelerator pedal today. Still not positive but everything else checks out and the reading on the pedal seem to change every time I check it.
