Bucket seats
I bought two nice Bucket seats off craigslist for $25. I'm gonnna mock them up today to see if they will work or not. I want to install two four point harnesses if they do. So i'll be in the market for them next. If the seats work out.

Take lots of pictures! I got 2 seats from Jegs and am wanting to do the same thing. I was wondering how to mount them. Thinking about making a base out of 1.5" tubing (that would outline the current seat area) and cross it up with some diamond plate. Still in design stage for me. And it's early so I ain't making much sence.

There is already a steel frame there the stock seat mounts to I plan to weld seat mounts to it if I can. Gotta get the stock seat off first. My seats may be a little wide but very comfortable if they fit! They are complete with lumbar support and recline and fore and aft seat adjusters.

Pulled the seat bottom off and set the seats in place. The fit is very tight, almost to tight for my liking. They are also to high with the seat adjusters. But very nice and comfy. I can make em' fit but now I'm reconsidering the dune buggy style. I might just sell these two and start over.

A friend put bucket seats on an older ez-go. I don't have all the details on
how he mounted them. |
