Long travel kits

I'm going to build an old 2001 electric CC into a cart for the ranch. Hunting for the most part. I have an Allsport 6" LT on my 2002 cart and it's okay I guess but there are some noise issues I don't care for although the ride is acceptable.
I'm wondering what options there are?

I have the Jakes on my EZ-GO. The Jakes use Heim joints as well and keeping them lubed is the hard part.

I've had good success with using spray chain lube on the heim joints. Granted my cart is pavement queen. All of my noise is the damm windshield! I've tried everything!

Isnt that the truth. F’ing little buttons that dont line up. AND why doesnt it seal better at the front?

A neighbor of mine has line the top and bottom with black pool noodles it blocks most of the air very well it's a world of difference but in my opinion is a function over form kinda thing it looks like hell! Lol

I've had good luck with placing black electrical tape on the windshield under the areas where the black plastic holders grip the front struts and the windshield itself. No squeaks since

The tape is hidden by the plastic holders so it might worked for you aesthetically.

Awesome!!! I'll give it a shot! Hopefuly the tape sticks after all the silicon, pfte, and graphite I've put on the POS!

Yeah I tried white lithium grease and silicon spray. They helped for a while but the squeak always came back within a few weeks.

I cleaned the areas of tape contact with 91% alcohol first and the tapes during fine. Still no squeaks for 3 months now

We cruise 2000 acres and sneak up on pigs so quiet is important. I was afraid to use lube due to the dust.

You could try dry lube. It sprays on wet but drys in a few minutes. A couple different types exists.
