Cart went from 12 mph stock to 23 mph and my Trojans are 5 years old and real tired. Im planning on a going with an 8" lift and 12" wheels but now have to decide on tires. My cart is Florida street legal now as an LSV and will be used on pavement only (hence the high speed motor). I would loike to do 26" general purpose tires which are gold couase approved, non aggressive tread (like a lawn tractor tire) but worried it will be too large. I could go down to 24 or even 23" but Im a bigger is better/nicer kind of guy. Any opinions?
I would choose Carlisle Alltrail. I think they have a 25" for the 12" wheels. These tires will last for a long time, i've been running a set for about 4 years on my neighborhood cruiser and there's still better than half tread on them. They also do pretty well off road but they will pack mud turning into giant mud balls
