Default Installing Fender Flares on a Drive

Has anyone installed flares like these on their Yamaha Drive? I just held them up to the cart and it looks like I'm going to have to trim either the flare or the plastic rocker panel. I'm thinking the flare, but just thought I'd ask.
Thanks!

Not sure if my advice will be compatible, but take it for what it is.

I bought ebay flares for my ezgo txt and they are a close shape, but not exact. The first fender is the hardest, because you don't want to screw up. I ended up playing with it for a min and realized that if you line it up with one end of the fender well and work your way the other direction they will form to your carts body and it will all make sense. I ended up having my wife help hold them in place, because you will have to push them against the body and hold them exactly where you need them on each screw.

Also, while your wife is holding the flare in place is NOT a good time to goose her in the butt, it's a good way to get wacked with a fender flare!

They definitely donít match up perfectly to the cart. This will be interesting.

I finally got them installed. Wasn't too bad. Had to trim the rear ones because the lift pushed the rear tires forward. It's MUCH better going thru the mud!
