Older E-z-go Front Trim
In the middle of lifting my 88 marathon gas. I removed the original front plastic trim/cover because it was broken up etc.
If anyone has one that is in decent shape, let me know. Headlights or regular. I plan to put lights in front somehow anyway. I found a couple sources to buy a new one for about $60-$80, but I am interested in alternative possibilities. Anyone use anything else to cover that area. I am thinking of fabing something out of sheet metal then fiberglass etc. Any other ideas out there? |

Re: Older E-z-go Front Trim
Was the old one in good shape except the mounts? Or is it a matter of being able to put lights in it?

Re: Older E-z-go Front Trim
It was trash, broken in half and pieces missing.
Do you have a used one to sell? I'll take one with or without light holes, if the price is right. |

If you fab your own post pics of it. I have 2 marathons and I am not real happy with the cowl on them. I was thinking about making a nose out of diamond plate.

Re: Older E-z-go Front Trim
I think I have an idea for a cover plate with light mounts etc.
I will post pics asap. My lift's front and rear are basically done, need to mount some air shocks on rear to allow for rear passenger weight. waiting for some rear wheel spacers ordered last week. |

Re: Older E-z-go Front Trim
I found an after market front trim for $50.00 (plain, no headlight holes)so I am happy with that price.
should be here in a week then I will post pics of my ride. everything else is at a usable point so I have had it out a few times. Both front and rear lifts seem to work fine. Now I want to start playing with the motor, change the exhuast, play with clutching etc. |
