Default ‘89 Club project build

Hey guys, Finally finished the build of the cart to be our club utility vehicle. Being in Australia the cost of most gear is way overprotective ced and hard to get hold of. I went about and did all the lift kit myself. Overall I think I got close to a 6” lift. Then it came to the wheels and tyres. Again the cost of a sub standard larger tire to fit the stock wheels was too high, ended up order a set of 10” alloys with an aggressive all terrain tyre for $500 US dollars delivered to my door. . All up it was built for about $1800 AUD. It also runs a 13 HP clone petrol engine.

Thanks, it took some serious pushing of the brain to work the lift out, but I got there, the bar work is made from an old trampoline frame and a bit of plate. It also has a 85 amp alternator to allow us to run a few LED lights for working at night. Top speed is about 30 mph, climbs some pretty big hills very easily.

Good work! That's a nice looking ride you got there. What is that you have attached on the driver side, on the rear body?

Moved the gear selector to the side. That way I am not playing with anyone’s legs when driving around the course.

Well now, that's a cool idea! Can you post a picture of the placement on the inside? I'd be interested to see how you routed and placed the mechanicals.

I removed the original mechanism, modified to the bracket that holds the cable so I could mount it on the outside and made my own stick shifter to suit, forwards goes forward and backwards is reverse.
