Default 6" or 8" Long travel suspension question

Hello everyone, I'm redoing the front end on my 2016 CC Precedent. It's currently sitting on Jake's 6" spindle lift but it's getting replaced with a long travel suspension kit.

It seemed like a no brainer replacing a 6" spindle lift with a 6" long travel. But then I got thinking that maybe the 6" long travel will squat a little more under the weight of the cart than the Spindle lift did..

Will I lose height/clearance swapping out a 6" spindle lift for a 6" long travel? Will the 6" long travel end up being only a 4 or 5" lift once on the ground? If that's the case maybe I should get the 8" long travel to compensate for the squat?

Your 6" spindle lift had "squat" as well. The spindle lift kit just raised the front end and left the vertical wheel travel just like it was as stock. Likely a 3" vertical travel.

The 6" LT will give you 6" vertical travel. With it being compressed at rest, you have to remember that the bumps don't always go "up". A lot of times the "bump" goes down...as in hole. So when you hit the hole and the wheel drops, it now has 5"-6" of travel and damping to cushion the blow.

After swapping out the Jake's 6" spindle lift with All Sport's 6" long travel, the Allsport has an extra 1" of clearance between the tires and fender. Looks and drives great.
