First Time Cart Owner About to Give a Build a Go!

Hey all. So recently bought a stock 2007 CC Precedent 48v. Will be used on road but I'm going to go with some all terrain type tires just in case I ever do any dirt road type riding. I'm about to take advantage of the Memorial Day sale on Golf Cart Kings and wanted to make sure I'm not ordering parts that won't work well with each other. Here's what I've got right now and really takes care of my immediate needs. Are there any other items I would need to compliment any of these mods?

-Mods Fip4 Rear Seat (pretty sure my current seat is buff but i call GCK and they said for this seat buff isn't available and that beige is actually the match for the 07 precedent - can anybody confirm this before i order??)

-6" Jakes Spindle Lift

-MODZ 10" Ambush rims with Arisun X Trail 20x10-10 tires (overall tire height is around 20" and width is 10" but says a 6" lift is required)

-last, but not least, the RHOX led light kit which if I'm reading correctly, this year model Precedent doesn't require a voltage reducer as it already has a harness for this

Please give me any advice or suggestions. The last thing I want is to be stuck with a grand worth of parts that I won't be happy with. Also, I live in a fairly hilly neighborhood, will the stock motor be able to handle this, at least for a year or so before any other mods?

Looks like you have a pretty good plan. I'm wondering if climbing hills will be your only issue, especially if you have any kind of load. The tires are larger than stock, but not outrageous. I'm not an electric cart guy, but there are upgraded motors, batteries, and cable kits out there.

Slonomo, I think I’ll be ok. They aren’t huge hills and between me, my wife and two young girls - we’ll only total up to about 400 lbs so I don’t worry too much about that. Although down the road I will probably consider it.

Aren’t there some alternatives to motors like changing the programming? I’m still very new at this.

Not sure, maybe on some of the newer models.

Let us know when you get it installed. I'd be interested to see that wheel/tire/lift combo. I bought a '16 precedent a few weeks back and have been trying to find a good combo. To me, the 14" wheels and 6" lifts seem a bit extreme. Been researching 10" and 12" wheels and 3" lifts.

So far I'm not off to as quick of a start as I'd hoped. Purchased the MODZ Flip 4 seat and started the install last Friday. Right after I'd gotten my cart disassembled and went to start the install, I noticed the two vertical brackets weren't the same. Called GCK and they shipped out a replacement. They should deliver today. The only other thing is a lot of the hardware had fallen out of the bags they came in and the boxes looked like they's been slid across the road when I got them. None of the parts look damaged but I won't be surprised if I'm missing some hardware. The directions suck with this seat too. But the seat itself had good reviews and the price was great. So we shall see. I'll probably wait for a 4th of July sale or some other big sale before I get tires and a lift. I want to do a little more research.

If budget is not too big of an issue I would go with an Allsports Super Sport A-arm lift. They are a lot more durable and more stable at higher speeds . If you plan on going over 20+ mph . You also get the ability to adjust Camber/caster easily as the Jake's lift does not have that ability. I have also heard that the quality and support of Jake's has gone down hill dramatically since they were bought out. Just my $.02

My 02 cents, with a 6" lift I would go with 22" tires for a better look and a little more speed.
