Default 5" Lift Ezgo Need Help

I Have A 1997 Electric Ezgo. The Spring Plates On The New 5" Drop Axle Are Welded On An Angle, This Tilts The Axle Back And Pushs The Shock Mounts Forward. The Shocks Are To Short At This Point And Will Not Bolt Up To The Mounts. The Stock Axle Has The Spring Plates Welded On Flat. Are The Plates Welded Correctly.

Are you trying to connect the shocks with the axle off of the ground?

Welcome Billy...

It doesn't sound like the plates are right, sounds more like some jack leg took a 4" lift axle and welded pads on top. where'd you get it from?

Have you talked with them about it? I've never heard anything bad about them. most people brag about the service and parts they get there.

I Got It To Bolt Up And I Will Give Rocky Top A Call. I Was Abel To Get The Shock Nut On One Shock And Pull It Into Place And I Did The Other . Looks Ok. I Will Check With Rocky Top. I Have The Batterys Out Of The Cart And Had No Weigh. Shock Are Extended All The Way Out.

No shock extensions on the front of this kit... It will limit the tavel and bend the shock mounts on the axle.
