I think I just got scammed
Someone called "thenewguy" just posted to my post and it had a "remove" button. When I clicked it, it used my fingerprint to charge me .99 for a subscription. It showed up as a subscription to Tapatalk premium. Is this legit?

Tapatalk does that occasionally if you are using the free version. An effort to get you to subscribe to their premium version. Be careful what buttons you push.

Tried Tapatalk once, deleted within 5 minutes. Couldn't stand the layout. Wish the website would stop bothering me at random times to use Tapatalk, it's annoying.
