The welds are horrible because I couldnt get a good arc, and I cant grind them down b/c the grinder doesnt fit, I will grind them down when i swap engines...

Allright, 3 months later, back lift is done, I went through every possible front suspension design, built each one about 1/2 way, then changed to another. Finally decided on dual control arm independant. It will have about 7 inches of travel i the rear and 9 in the front. Right now 1 control arm is fully welded, the other 3 are tacked together. I need to drill holes, thread them, and buy heim joints, then take care of steering. Hoping to be done in a few more weeks....

Forgot to add that I will build a bumper when done, possibly a winch, already installed police flasher on origional headlights, so they alternate flashing(one side flashes, then the other)Also put blue LEDS on each side that blink at the same time, alternate, etc, and installed aftermarket off road halogen lights, will install a second set on bumber. Also installed back up lights. Eventaully will install big block and paint bed

My understanding is that the Yamaha g2/g9 are the same is some aspects and parts, for example you can buy a lift kit for a g2 and it will bolt to the hyundai
