Default 99 ds electric

Dont want to aggressive. No off roading. Looking for a 6" lift. What do you recommend And where from. The cart has been converted to lithium so i might not change the leaf springs. What type of shocks and length would i need. Thx

I personally like the steeling kit. At $219 it's the best bang for the buck for sure and very solid build quality.
I fit 25" tires with no rubbing at all. Replaces literally everything in the front end except the shocks.

Order a rear leaf spring bushing kit before you install it. The bushings are almost always gone in the rear. Dont worry about the front though, you remove everything with bushings and replace with new parts.

I have the steeling kit with 23's on my DS and i found it to be well made with a pretty straight forward install. You can definitely fit some bigger tires under there too!

This was my electric DS on 25" tires. I think it was a 2002 maybe, can't remember now lol. Too many carts since then... Rode great on the 25's and had no rubbing or any other issues at all.

Looks good. Time for some meats under it now!

You can get a set of 12" wheels pretty cheap on ebay. I've found complete sets of nice aluminum wheels for $150-200 range. Then local tire shopping results are nearly endless. Honda, Polaris, and many other ATV and SXS use a 25x8x12 front and 25x10x12 rear for stock tire size. Most people will take these off the second they get the thing home and install big mud tires. Then they sell the OEM tires and wheels for dirt cheap on craigslist or facebook marketplace. You can usually find the OEM tires for $100-150. The last couple sets I've bought still had the nipples on them! Plus they're good brand name tires (Carlisle, Maxxis, Dunlop, etc.)

All in all you'll be into it for $300-350 wheels and tires. Which is a much better deal than getting a wheel/tire combo for $400 with steel wheels and off-brand 22-23" tires.
