Re: Tire Slime ?
I have .... repairs have been met with a 50% success rate over the years.... I think the bigger the tire the less chance for success you have.... there are 2 sizes or grits if you will.
Oh and it makes a heck of a mess if you have to change the tire or save the rim later |

Re: Tire Slime ?
I had a small piece of wire in my tire yesterday.
Pulled it out and tested for leaks and found the wire did go all the way through and tire now has a slow leak. I was going to take it to local tire shop and have patched but what a pain.....So I went to local auto parts store and purchased 1 gallon of Tire Slime, deflated all 4 tires, filled each tire with 29oz of Slime and then re-inflated. It did seem to stop my slow leak and now I have the confidence that the potential chance for another flat tire has been minimized. I was concered about the added weight but cart seems to ride smoother with no loss of speed or torque. Tires: Duro Desert 23x10.5x12 |

Re: Tire Slime ?
I have @ 15oz in every tire of all of my toys. Never had a flat or any Ill effects of it being in them. I like to think it's a preventitive action.

Re: Tire Slime ?
I think "Slime " is a water base product.... We run water and air in our tractor tires for improved weight/traction..... It rusts the he11 out of the rims. Takes a while but it does

Re: Tire Slime ?
most of you guys are in a warm climate, but when it get cold the slime will jell up and stick in one spot in the tire! if you go over 20mph the tires want to beat them selfs right off the cart.
