Scotty, I like the shocks at 25 degree. With my limited experiance the panard bar will keep the rear end "tracking" straight. Here is a pix of a Yamaha I built many moons ago..with dual fox shocks and a dropped front mount. Not for hard core use, but may give you another idea. Keep it up my freind!

Dave, in your picture the panhard is almost at a 45 degree angle. So if the axle came up 6 inches it would move 3" lateral? That is a lot of lateral movement, too much in my mind. So I think some frame extension needs to be dropped down to attach the bar to to keep it closer to lever? THat would minimize the lateral movement while allowing for vertical movement... What do you think?

There really wasn't "any" movement with those 4 foxx shocks, the panard bar was just there for keeping the rearend in a straight tracking alighnment. If your building this suspension for alot of "articulation", I would think a bar (or link) with adjustable hemi joints, from a mounting point (on the top side) of the differancial to a upper frame bracket would work great. It would be shorter, adjustable and out of the way when "pounding" sand/mud/rocks. Just a thought.

I have to agree. Good 2 cents worth PM.

Well, everything that moves, falls into the 'looks easier to build than it looks' catagory .....
I started this this thinking there was little to it. Again I was mistaken I am learning a whole lot and that is fun... I spent some time educating myself on different 4 link suspension designs and functions this am.... been up and at it since 4:30 The information is lengthy but pics are a shortcut ..... here is one or 2
