2007 EZ-GO and Allsports lift kit

We have a 2007 PDS ez-go that we are looking to lift up. We bought an allsports 5" high lift kit that we were told would fit.

Part # ASM-EH5E

However we are having some issues with it. First and foremost when you try and bolt the new axle to the stock leaf springs, the springs hit the main tube too soon and will not let the bolt holes line up.

The second issue is there are no holes in the new axle to mount the steering rack like there were in the stock one.

I am having doubts that this kit is for my model year car, the instructions says 94-2000 model year but the part number is the ASM-EH5E which does not list any model years on the allsports website.

The provided instructions are pretty terrible. We had an older EZ-GO that we put a different drop axle kit and it worked great, so its not from mechanical inability.

You were sold the wrong kit. The 2007 model cart you have would require All Sports part #: E5NSE

The kit you have will only work with 1994-2000 models as specified.

The kit you need is for the new style 2001-up model TXT carts.

That is the case.

Who told you the kit would work? What size tire are you going to run?

We bought the kit from a Hot Rod Carts in northern Indiana. It sucks because we were going to put on the lift yesterday and they are closed today and tomorrow. But mistakes happen, no real harm. I am sure they will make it right.

I think we are looking at running 22" tires at this point.
