Tractor Supply has 1" keyed weld on hub and pulley components that I picked up to try on one of mine. You'll have to turn down the thickness of the collar itself after welding it to the pulley. The stock pulley off of a Suzuki engine had the needed ID to fit the OD of the collar so I just needed weld it on ............. and turn it down. As far as the mount for the generator, I haven't quite gotten around to that.

Thanks for the help Boris. I was wondering how these generators regulate itself when the battery is fully charged?

The stock golf-cart generator I understand is good enough for a golf cart, but as far as putting it on using lights and a winch and a radio ..... and then trusting it to do what you need it to do without potential problems, I'm honestly not sure. I believe some type of an external voltage regulator will still be needed though.
Somebody else will have to answer that one .....

If you're feeling adventurous ....... I do believe, a small late-model alternator from a GM product has a built-in voltage regulator ....... and some are about as big as an oil-can.

Any auto-electric rebuilding service could probably clarify how the guts work and if thats something that could work for you.
