Default "REAL" roll cage idea w/picture

I'm still pretty new to golf carts bad I grew up around drag racing and now currently involved with motorcycles and supermoto racing. The fabrication part of the cage isn't as challenging as the design. After reading/researching I realized there is a shortage of "roll cages" that actually have roll over protection. Essentialy they are basically very heavy duty light bar with no safety.
I decided to take my 2006 G22 and make an actual full roll cage. I will be using 1.5"x.120" DOM tubing. I decided to buy a good manual bender(instead of bending all my tubing at my friend's shop), die sets, and most importantly the Bend-Tech Pro bending software. I bought a JD2 model 3 bender that should arrive this week with the software. With the software I will be able to design the cage and have complete 3D CAD drawings and dimensions. So duplicating is easy because all your bends and necessary info is saved on hard drive.
Here is a crude picture with a drawing on how I am going to begin, and where I was thinking of tying the tubing in. This is just the beginning of my cage. The white mark is where I will definatly have to reinforce the OEM steel plate. Once I get the software I will post an actual 3D CAD design. For now just check this(poor man's CAD) drawing and let me know what you guys think.
And if anyone is curious as to why I'm doing this to a golf cart?? I want my family to be safe and I like doing this kind of stuff. Thanks Guys
