Cargo box w/pictures
Well I started my cargo box yesterday and this is what I have done so far.
Removed roof and roof supports made some alum spacers so the box would clear the body alum spaces set in place cutting box supports fab'ed up some back supports fab'ed up box supports I did not have any channel so I had to work with what I had (which was angle) to make channel Welding everything up. I had to move this outside as I kept setting off the smoke alarm and making the wife mad when I was welding inside. Started on the receiver hitch |

Trail fit of the seat back. This may be about all I get done today as the grass has to cut.

Re: Cargo box w/pictures
if it waited much longer I would be bailing it instead of cutting it.
I did get a little more done tonight after cutting the grass. Hope to start on the roof supports tomorrow. If anyone has some good pictures of how the roof supports work with a box, I would really like to see them. I have a good idea of how I am going to do it but always looking for a better way. thank for the support so far. |

Lookin good Pullit! Looks like you got all the right tools to build it the way you want it. I hate grass. I want a concrete yard!

Re: Cargo box w/pictures
well here is what I got done tonight,
Finished my hitch added braces for seat back/box front wall/ and roof supports Here is the start of the roof supports. I do not have a tube bender so I am having to cut and bend complimentary angles for all my bends/joints. Everything is tacked up at this point. And the roof is just setting on for trial fit. |
