First time upgrading controller&motor. Need help with alltrex
This is my first time to upgrade a cart. I have a 2000 ezgo PDS 36vlt cart. I am a little concerned about upgrading the controller. I have ordered everything I think I need. Solenoid, 500 amp Controller, Wires, et al. I was wonderinig if I need to be an electrical engineer to figure this out or is it as simple as putting the wires back the same way they came off. I noticed that there is a resistor and main fuse that needs to be added.
Any picutres or help in doing this for the first time would help |

Bookum
I just installed a new Alltrax controller and new cables also,I pretty much just went cable by cable on the swap out. Then I marked everything with some colored paint on the ends when I took them off the controller and such so I was sure what went where. Make sure when you are removing or installing you disconnect the batteries from the rest of the system that way you won't short anything out. It goes pretty easy once you get started, although dealing with the new thicker cables can be a little trying. good luck |
