Thinking hard about going to a 27x12x10 inch tires all the way around. I ride on a 50/50 split between dirt and pavement. Anybody know any potetial problems with tires that big?

Not sure but they might rub when you turn.

Re: 27" tires?
weight is a big issue when going tall, some tires are ridiculously heavy so choose wisely. Takes alot of power to spin heavy tires. highlifters.com has some tire weight comparison charts on there site. The big tires are fun as he11, you can run over things you'd never ever considered with the small ones.

Re: 27" tires?
Power to turn the tires is not an issue. If I have to I will move up to 72 volts. I am pretty sure i will have enough power as I am now though. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/extre...-wheelies.html
Clearance around the fenders is not an issue. But, clearance around the tie rods in the front is. I was hoping some one with a Club Car has tried to run 12 inch wide (27x12x10)in the front and could tell me if they will fit before I buy them. If not I am gonna have to run a 9 inch (27x9x10) in the front. |

Re: 27" tires?
Tires should be here tuesday or wed. I ordered 27x9x10 for the front and 27x12x10 for the rear. Got them from the interco tires web site. They were 20 bucks a peice. They are Blems. They also have some 24x9x10 Vampires for sale for 35 bucks a piece.
I bought these. They also have these Vampires. |
