Started The Build
Well I got my cart a few months back and I have been lurking around the site here gathering some info before I started. I actually got 2 carts that I am pulling apart and mashing together to make 1. I got very lucky in finding to cart that were very similar. After watching and reading some of the builds on here I finally decided OK its time to get started. So here is what I have.
I am going to start off by showing you what I am starting with. I got this cart for free. I paid $300 for the wheels and tires. I dont know the year but it was very old. The steering was half gone, no floor pan but had some really good suspension parts in it. 1.jpg Then I found this cart on craigs list for $100. It works but needed batteries. I found a set of batteries on craigs list for $40.00. They were used but in good enough shape that I could get my build going. I also didn't want to go get a new set and then hook something up wrong a destroy them. 3A.jpg So now I have started my build. I am taking the long travel front end off the white cart and mounting it to the black cart. Then I am going to have to fab a lift for the rear end but that will be later on. The next thing I am going to have to do is figure out my steering. There is a cross member in the long travel that is in the way of where the steering goes but Ill get it figured out. 1B.jpg2A.jpg |

Re: Started The Build
A couple more pictures of how it is looking right now.
3A.jpg4A.jpg 5A.jpg6A.jpg One thing that I forgot to do is take a measurement of the stock hight of the cart. Does any one know what the stock hight is of a 1994 E Z go. The long travel I am putting on was made by th guy I got the white cart from so I don't know how much of a lift it is. I want to be able to take a measurement after and see just how much it went up. |
