Re: Newbie first built looking for advice
First, welcome to BGW A few details will help, what is the serial number of the cart? How do you plan to use it? Hilly or flat ground? Do you want torque or speed or both? How much do you want to spend?

Hey badbull, auuming it's a gasser I would:
AllSports 7" (min) A arm lift 25" tires on 12" rims, CPP Big Block. get the rev kit too! and maybe the cam... Header kit Check out the camo clad from sponsors too That'll get you going and into the woods! SHouldn't set you back more than $3500-4000! |

OH MY GOD!! I did not know Club Car made a 4WD golf cart. I need to sell mine. I want one.
Yes it will take a sum of money to do it. First off DO use one of this fourms sponsers. Search is your best frend. Spend a day or two here researching, esp. on the lifted and hunting cart threads, lots of good insight that will help you select a vehicle.... |

Re: Newbie first built looking for advice
Welcome to the nuthouse dawg ...... First thing I think you need to do and I don't know if it was touched on (maybe WW did)...... is to figure out how much ruffage ($$) is in your budget, just what you want to do with the cart ..... THEN see if the two can actually mesh. These little parts numbers add up very quickly .... the fabrication numbers add to that ...... and all of the bigtime go-fast parts, WhooWeee! can make you flat-out dizzy. Make a wish-list.
More of us than not (in here) get into this golf cart thing, only to find out there's a heck of a lot left to do, than money left to do it with. Once you get the bug .... It's hard to get rid of. |
