Best cart for off-road?
Looking to get a golf cart to convert for off-road and hunting. Is any make/model known to be better suited? I'm thinking a gas cart, but maybe electric would be better. Are more items readily availible for certian ones. Does any tend to hold up better? Thanks for any advice offered! E

Re: Best cart for off-road?
Your question can be better answered with what kind of $$$$ are you looking to spend? $1,500.00 or $8,000.00?

Looking to get used cart. I was thinking 1500-3000. It seems like there's a lot available in this range.

Re: Best cart for off-road?
Not much for $1,500.00. Start at the $3,000.00 range and take your time shopping. My experience with customers buying a $1,500.00 cart is that they end up spending $2,000.00+ fixing and adding accessories

Re: Best cart for off-road?
That's what I wanted to say, but since I am a dealership - I didn't want to step on other peoples toes - LOL
Problem is going to get all that he wants for the money he wants to spend. So be open to all brands that have been PROPERLY built and in good condition |

Re: Best cart for off-road?
Ezgo Gas Modified But I'm partial to what worked for me ... I did have a nice 2000 CC XRT Carryall but still I like the builder friendly Ezgos...And everything you would ever want is available... Lots of people having to sell built carts now below book if you can wait and shop around for the right one......

Depending on what kind of mods you make will decide how much you spend. You could but a 3000 dollar cart and spend the same amount modding it as you would on a 1500 dollar cart. Good luck. As far as off road mine will go dang near anywhere with no problem.
