Default EZ-Going to the Dunes

Hi Everyone,
I'm a new memeber here. I actually stumbled upon this site while searching for some parts online for me new toy. I bought my EZ-Go and modified it as much as possible but won't know how well it works until I take my maiden voyage in the sand dunes. It has an 18hp B&S with the rev kit installed. I know it runs great on the road but I'm a little nervous on how it will do in the dunes. I know my suspension is up to the task because it's the longtravel kit with Worcs triple rate shocks off my old TRX250R and 09 rear resevoir shocks off the Kawasaki Teryx. Has anyone on here been to the dunes with the 18hp cart? If so, how did it do? I wan't to know if the single rear tire drive worked ok or if you had to weld the gears to get it to run as a posi. Any thoughts or ideas would be great.

I was told with my rev kit my motor is about a 26hp now. Running side by side with my neighbors Ranger, he had me gps'd at 42mph. I don't have paddles for my cart so I hope it does alright with what I have. We will be at Glamis for Halloween as well. We should try and meet up. I've attached a few pics of my cart. Sorry no action pics. I'll be getting those at the dunes

Thanks! You should have seen it when I bought it. It was Lime green with a bright yellow cage. Oh, and it had frogs and daisy stickers all over it. Unfortuneately for me, that's all my wife will let me do to it this year. Little does she realize, next year is only a few months away

Here's a pic of it when I first bought it....after ripping off all the stickers.

I want to put a different cam in it along with the copper gaskets offered by Cartpartplus, flathead pistons, front disc brakes, a trailer hitch so I can pull my jet ski and last but not least would be some HID lights so i can do some night riding in the dunes. I had a stereo in it but I couldn't hear it over the engine so I just pulled it out. The only things I want to do in this cart is to climb Olds Hill in Glamis and cruise around the camp sites at the lake. Everything else is a bonus in my eyes. The funny thing is that I have less into my golf cart (as it is in the pics)than my buddy does in his new Kawasaki Teryx (bone stock).

Monkey-1 you have a pretty nice cart yourself. How much room does that air ride set up take up underneath?
