help me pick (another) lift
I have a 2005 ez-go pds (36v) cart. It has a bunk 6in spindle/spacer lift that rides terrible. I am running 22in tires. The cart has a utility bed. Hunting/farm use.
The current lift has shock extensions in the rear. I would like to upgrade to a better riding set up, keep the front/rear track width the same, add full length shocks, increase travel and change the rear springs to handle more weight. Cart also has a rattle in the steering column. In searching it appeared one of the kits included a replacement column. the cart has some performance mods and runs 20+. Thanks for reading and any suggestions you may be able to offer. |

Re: help me pick (another) lift
This is a pretty reasonable price for an axle lift.
https://www.computerpoint.net/catalo...rToys/6205.htm This is about 3 times as much, but the ride quality is gonna be extremely better. Not sure of the rear as there arent any pics or discussion about it. But going through Mikes web site, there are dozens of replacement shocks from 40-200 dollars. https://www.computerpoint.net/catalo...SM-E6LTNSE.htm And this is a new steering column for 96.00. https://www.computerpoint.net/catalo...rToys/6063.htm |

Re: help me pick (another) lift
Consider a Strech long travel kit! We use them on three different carts and they all ride great! THey have front and rear long travel kits

Re: help me pick (another) lift
I like the Strech, too - BUT DVR has a 2005 cart with new style steering. The Strech lift for newer model EZGO has terrible steering IMO. You only get 3/4 turn on the steering wheel each way.

Re: help me pick (another) lift
DVR - let me know what you need! The Factory lift is the best option, if you want to stay with a drop axle. Second choice is a tie between the Jake's or AllSports. I like the AllSports because it includes the riser spindles...

Re: help me pick (another) lift
I can't argue with the turning radius issues I ended up moding mine to improve the radius.....

Re: help me pick (another) lift
Seems simple enough - I've said it to them for years. All it needs is a steering box that is not a 1 : 1 ratio...
