23" off road tire
Im looking for a 23 inch tire to fit a 12 inch rim. The only thing I can find on the net is a swamp fox. I don't know much about them. Does anyone else knows of another off road tire for a 23 inch tire for a 12 inch rim. I hunt out of my cart and need something with some grip on it for the mud.

Re: 23" off road tire
There are many 23" tires available for the 12" wheel! A 489 Titan is a great mud tire...

Re: 23" off road tire
Dirt devils are another..... for mud use look for a tire with large deep lugs set far apart. Anything else will just pack full and become a slick

Re: 23" off road tire
For mud the swamp fox and other ag tread design tires can't be beat, one of the big things I look at is tire weight, the heavier it is, the more power needed to turn it. Not a huge deal with an atv but stock carts don't have power to weight ratios like an atv. some of the tires like the swamp fox can get pretty heavy with all those lugs. the lighter tires of that type have more spacing between the lugs which means they ride rougher on roads/hard pack when going slow. another thing to consider is tire size, (depending on brand) the lug size jumps to over and inch if you go with a 25" or bigger tire. This can mean a world of difference, bigger is always better in mud.

I have the carlisle a/t 489's in 23x10x12....awesome. When I get a bigger lift, I'll get them in 25x10x12.
