Need help with rear lift
Can someone post an upclose pic of a rear lift .......are the springs mounted over or under the axle. The rear is lower than the front so I think something is wrong. I have an 05 Ezgo pds with a 5" drop axle lift (all-sports). Thanks

Re: Need help with rear lift
Leaf Springs go over the axle. From top to botton, tie plate (plate with 4 holes and one bigger in ceneter), leaf spring, the riser or "C-channel" with flat part to the top against the spring, then your axle, then I think the plates/straps with 2 holes. Then bolts go throuh all that.....at least last one I did was like that. That may not be a very good description.

Re: Need help with rear lift
the instructions that came with my lift never mentioned moving the spring above the axle. it was one of the many pieces of information long duck dong left out. I have installed countless lift kits on trucks. otherwise, I would still be working on it. I will never buy a cheap lift again. if the only benefit is good instructions it will be worth the extra $$.

Re: Need help with rear lift
How much lower is it, if it is a inch or so , than you may have failing factory leafs. you need to upgrade to HD springs. I put HD springs on every lift I do.
