lift 01 ezgo limo
what a bleedin' nightmare!!!! the front went in fine in less than 45 mins. moved to the back and everything went to hell in a handbasket!!! this is a factory limo and therefore has a heavy duty rear end? the whole ebrake system is directly above the spring mounts!! to install the standard rear lift blocks i had to remove all the ebrake levers and cut away the mounts for the cables!!! guess my plan for this weekend will be to swap the backing plates from left to right with the whole unit turned upside down. this should allow me to run the cables forward after i build mounts to hold them. either that or just go to a disk brake system right now $$$$. i want to get it street legal before i go too crazy on it.

Re: lift 01 ezgo limo
What kit did you use? We've added lifts to MANY Shuttles with no problem. Of course, I only use the OEM lift...
The only carts where we have had to switch brake assemblies and mounts on are Workhorse 1200 models... |

Re: lift 01 ezgo limo
manufactured by ezgo. the backing plate has two slots that arms protrude out of, they link together abover the axel and are operated by the e brake cable coming from the e brake lever mounted between the two frt. seats. pics in am.

Didn't Wicked lift a limo with an e-brake? I thought it was his purple one. Maybe he would have some pointers for you.
